Re-Ed Philosophy

Re-ED stands for the Re-Education of ED students.  It focuses on the strengths of each child and family, and holds these beliefs: It is possible to teach competence; change is possible; and the development of trusting relationships with caring, committed adults is the most significant factor in turning around the lives of seriously troubled children. Love & Logic

What Is Love and Logic? Children learn the best life lessons when they're given a task and allowed to make their own choices (and mistakes) when the cost of making mistakes is still small. Good educators believe that students' mistakes are golden learning opportunities and must be coupled with love and empathy from all stakeholders.
